Summary of Bug Report
Sometimes on some Linux distros the java process that runs local BugJail Server is not killed and the process is left running, which can consume a fuckton of memory.
Response and Plan
Repro with couple of distros. Will fix.
Check for extra java process, and kill it.
Notes for Fix
- Doesn't happen on Kubuntu, so something to do with GNOME vs KDE.
- Maybe don't bother finding exact root cause, just add more robust killing of the process.
- Small delay between 'will-quit' event and letting the quit proceed could allow enough time to kill the Java process.
